And now a full-fledged roguelike about the zombie apocalypse, The Last Stand: Aftermath, created for PC and all key platforms, has been released, for which more than $60,000 was raised through Kickstarter. FARMING SIMULATOR 22
In the past decade, a new genre has taken shape in the industry – a simulator of a working profession: a builder, a loader, a bus driver, a miner. Unlike all the familiar flight and car simulators, these games do not focus on competition or combat, do not try to surprise with realism or a high level of graphics – this is a rather specific entertainment, focused on showing the features of the profession and is great for those who want to try themselves in the role of, for example, a lumberjack, without getting up from a comfortable chair. RUINED KING: A LEAGUE OF LEGENDS STORY
Recently, we have seen how Riot Games and its divisions actively promote the League of Legends universe to the masses. And they do it so delicately and powerfully that comparisons come to mind only with Blizzard in its best years – and even that one, perhaps, they surpassed. First there was the stunningly cool Arcane series, and recently Ruined King: A League of Legends Story came out, which, instead of local turn-based tactics for its own, turned out to be one of the best isometric RPGs in recent times. This, however, is not entirely a surprise – it was developed by the Airship Syndicate studio, which is responsible for Darksiders Genesis and the amazing (in our coordinate system) Battle Chasers: Nightwar.
