As I wrote in the first preview, in the sequel to this new old “Gothic” from the “piranhas”, we again play as Jax, who, after defeating a huge hybrid robot, is forced to repel an alien threat looming over Magalan. More precisely, at first a strange object loomed over him, but few people paid attention to it – numerous groups sorted out among themselves and fought for power. THIS IS THE PRESIDENT
Political satire arose, perhaps, simultaneously with the advent of this very policy – anecdotes, jokes and ridicule of the highest leaders of the state have always been popular among the general population. Once upon a time, for impartial, but funny statements in the direction of those in power, one could lose one’s freedom, or even life, but today this is easier, isn’t it?
Instead of jokes, there are now, for example, our favorite video games. This Is the President from Russian developers SuperPAC, published under the auspices of THQ Nordic, is an example of such a modern satire that ridicules not only the existing political reality of the United States, of which the player is the president, but also all world politics. ICARUS
Dean Hall is a very controversial figure in the modern gaming industry. The creator of the great modification for ArmA II called DayZ was never able to bring it to mind as an independent project, leaving his brainchild to other developers. The former New Zealand military man himself, and now a game designer, decided to create without looking at major publishers and in 2014 founded his own studio RocketWerkz, which was supposed to, as the slogan on the Twitter page says, “make cool games” (We make cool games) .
