UNDUNGEON
In the genre of Western RPGs, where everything has long been invented and overused, it is difficult to surprise and stand out with something. Therefore, rare exceptions, like Planescape: Torment and Disco Elysium, are perceived so warmly. The authors of Undungeon were clearly inspired by the first. Here, too, there is a multiverse divided into plans, many incomprehensible names, wonderful creatures and races, and we play as an immortal hero, the Herald, who meets characters who remember him perfectly from previous cycles (but he does not remember them). FIGHTS IN TIGHT SPACES
Secret agent on style
It is clear that it should be bright and stylish even externally. In this sense, Fights in Tight Spaces is reminiscent of another tactic – Frozen Synapse (Mode 7 studio had a hand in both projects), as well as the Superhot shooter – the same minimalism, where even the objects of the environment in the rooms are depicted schematically, the same primacy of the black and white palette with splashes of red and other bright colors. THUNDER TIER ONE
Another tactical shooter? It sounds so ordinary that in order to attract attention to a new project in this genre, you need to at least somehow stand out from the crowd, in which there is always something to choose from: action movies for single passage and designed for multiplayer, in a fantastic setting and in a realistic, complex and arcade. Quantity, however, does not always translate into quality, and it is not so easy to find a really high-quality shooter even in our time full of releases. Continue reading
